World Preclinical Congress - Europe

Thank you very much for taking the time to be a part of our 2nd annual World Preclinical Congress Europe, which was held this past 15-17 November in Lisbon, Portugal. We were joined by nearly 250 attendees, speakers, sponsors/exhibitors, student fellows and poster presenters who helped make this young event such a huge success.

The Congress featured four conferences and five short courses covering some of the most interesting and important topics in preclinical research, such as discovery chemistry, predicting drug toxicity, use of preclinical tumor models and 3D cell culture models. The event grew in attendance by nearly 40% and the exhibit hall doubled in size. There were panel discussions, breakout sessions, and refreshment breaks which provided an opportunity for participants to interact and network. Talks given by technology and service companies brought people up to speed on the latest offerings in tools and technologies.

The feedback we have received from many of you has been quite positive. The warm weather, fabulous venue, and delicious food in historic Lisbon certainly helped! We are looking to expand our offerings in 2018 and possibly move to bigger venue.

Once we evaluate all the responses received, we will decide on the dates and location for next year’s event. The 17th Annual World Preclinical Congress in the U.S. will take place 19-21 June, 2018 at The Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts. Event details at www.WorldPreclinicalCongress.com.
